Operation hiccaCare
Prior to launching hiccapop, one of our founders fulfilled a lifelong dream by adopting three children from his local community. That deep love for the underprivileged is what then propelled hiccapop into supporting its first philanthropy and eventually into partnering with The Goodness Project, a non-profit organization whose primary function is to serve disadvantaged families both domestically and around the world.
Hearing stories like the one below breaks our hearts, but it is an immediate reminder to be grateful, always. This is why we started Operation hiccaCare.
"This week we had a young lady (21 years old) with two daughters (6 months and 3 years old) who was in an abusive relationship and left him last Friday night. She did not have much money, and her case worker was able to provide her with formula, clothing, and all the donations that we receive from hiccapop. She later disclosed that her oldest daughter never had her own bed until receiving the one from hiccapop. I do hope that this gives you an idea of how much your donations help the clients that we service. Have a wonderful day and thank you for everything that you do for our organization!"
And now, three years later, hiccapop has donated over $5,400,000 in product to The Goodness Project and other organizations offering help to battered women and children, teen moms, foster children and families in crisis caused by natural disasters throughout the US.
Operation hiccaCare started out really small by supporting a few local non-profits, most notably, Chicks-In-Crisis, an organization supporting teen moms and their babies. But soon after starting, we realized that to really make an impact, we needed to partner with a professional philanthropy group – and that’s how we came to partner with The Goodness Project team.
Our partnership with The Goodness Project allows us to donate hiccapop products around the USA and abroad through partnerships with over 600 non-profit groups who serve weary, hurting, and displaced families in crisis.
