Perfect! Easy Assembly and Installation
This is the perfect size for conversion of a crib to a toddler bed. My little can easily get in and out on the sides both front and back but has the appropriate protection from rolling out. The rail is sturdy too when leaned on.Now for assembly and installation. I always read reviews before ordering which is why I am writing this one to let others know that previous reviews expressing issues with installation and the rail shifting have either all been taken care of and corrected or I am just a master installer. Despite the reviews expressing the difficulties installing and issues with how to install and it shifting I still ordered just because I usually am pretty handy with making things work. I am very pleased to say I followed the instructions for installation exactly as listed and not only were they easy, the rail is also sturdy and doesn't shift. Kuddos to the company for fixing any issues previously listed in reviews! They now include straps that velcro to avoid it shifting once on and the bar that goes under the mattress is now flat so the mattress lays flat when mounted above the frame like it's supposed to be. No crazy installation under the frame needed and no zip ties as many commented in their reviews they had to use. Quick and simple!I would HIGHLY recommend!!
So far so good
It was easy to put together and on to the bed. I do experience a small gap/lift to that mattress but it’s not enough to be problematic in any way. My son is ridiculous and spent ten minutes shaking it back and forth one morning and it didn’t budge so I’m happy with its ability to stay upright against weight and pressure and repetitive pushing. It’s only bern a week or so but so far i don’t foresee any issues but will update this review if I do.
Very happy with this convertible crib rail!
I was skeptical to buy this crib rail due to several of the other reviews. I took a chance and Bought it and I am so glad I did! It was easy to assemble! I didn’t even ask for my husbands help. No tools were necessary. I never had any of the problems listed in other reviews. A couple days after receiving the product, I received a message from the company asking how everything was going with installation and they encouraged me to reach out if I had any problems. The company really cares about customer satisfaction and make any necessary changes needed to the rail. The convertible crib I have is brand- Babi Italia, style- parkland. The rail is very sturdy. I had no problems with feeling the bar when laying on the mattress. I love that it attaches to the crib frame. The rail stays in place and doesn’t move around with movement on the bed. Directions were easy to follow. The bars that go under the mattress were perfect length and adjustable for different size cribs
Set up is not difficult and no issues
Set up was pretty easy and did not need assistance. Yes if you install the bars on top of the crib frame there will be a gap between the mattress and frame but it's not noticeable and my kid sleeps fine in it. I set it up this afternoon. Tonight she fell asleep right away and was excited about her revamped bed. She no longer has to climb over the crib to get out, so we're both happy about that. Over the weekend I'll try to see if it's better to install under the wire frame, maybe. Maybe not. Overall happy with it, no major issues.
Safety Comes First
Our little one would not sleep in his crib until my husband took the front of it off. I guess he felt as though he was caged in and that was not going to work for him. So, my husband took off the front and applied the Hiccapop Toddler Bed Rail; we haven't had sleep this good since his birth 13-months ago...yes, he slept with us. He now sleeps in his room, in his bed without any fussing and crying all through the night. Sometimes he gets out of his bed on his own and crawls into our room, but at least we know that he isn't rolling off the bed and hitting the floor in the middle of the night hurting himself.
